Application of Noninvasive Ventilator in Patients with Acute Heart Failure Complicated with Respiratory Failure
Objective:To observe the application of noninvasive ventilator in patients with acute heart failure complicated with respiratory failure.Method:A total of 80 patients with acute heart failure combined with respiratory failure admitted to Mindong Hospital Affiliated to Fujian Medical University from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected.Totally 40 patients admitted from January 2022 to June 2023 were included in the control group, and 40 patients admitted from July 2022 to December 2023 were included in the observation group. Both groups were given conventional treatment measures, the control group receiving nasal cannula oxygen inhalation and the observation group receiving non-invasive ventilator treatment. The heart rate, blood gas indicators, cardiac function indicators before and after treatment, and complications between two groups were compared.Result:After treatment, both groups showed a decrease in heart rate and arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PaCO2),while arterial partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2)and oxygen saturation(SaO2)increased,the heart rate and PaCO2 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, while PaO2 and SaO2 were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the left ventricular end systolic diameter(LVESD)and left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVEDD)decreased in both groups, while the cardiac index(CI)and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)increased, the LVESD and LVEDD in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, while the CI and LVEF were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:In patients with acute heart failure complicated with respiratory failure,non-invasive ventilator treatment can achieve ideal therapeutic effect in stabilizing heart rate and improving blood gas index, and can further promote the recovery of heart function and reduce the occurrence of complications.
