Application Effect of Radiative Shock Wave Therapy Combined with Rehabilitation Program in Elderly Patients with Shoulder Periarthritis
Objective:To explore the application effect of divergent shock wave therapy combined with rehabilitation program in elderly patients with shoulder periarthritis.Method:A total of 106 elderly patients with shoulder periarthritis treated in Hubei Provincial Hospital of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine from January 2021 to January 2024 were selected as the sudy objects and divided into control group(n=52)and combined group(n=54)according to random number table method. The control group was treated with rehabilitation program intervention, while the combined group was treated with radiative shock wave therapy. The effects of the intervention, pain scores, range of motion and functional changes were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of the combined group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, visual analogue scale(VAS)score, pain rating index(PRI)score, present pain intensity(PPI)score and shoulder pain disability index(SPADI)score of the two groups were lower than those before intervention, and all scores of the combined group were lower than those of the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).After the intervention, the shoulder joint anterior flexion, posterior extension, abduction, external rotation, internal rotation and horizontal flexion motion of both groups were higher than those before the intervention, and the shoulder joint motion of the combined group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of radiative shock wave therapy and rehabilitation program can effectively relieve the pain symptoms of patients with shoulder periarthritis, and promote the recovery of shoulder mobility function, and the intervention effect is significant.
