The Effect of CO2 Laser on Vaginal Microecology,HPV Conversion Rate and Recurrence Rate in Patients with Vaginal Intraepithelial Neoplasia
Objective:To investigate the effect of CO2 laser on vaginal microecology, human papillomavirus(HPV)conversion rate and recurrence rate in patients with vaginal intraepithelial neoplasia(VAIN).Method:102 VAIN patients, admitted to Nanping First Hospital from January 2022 to January 2023,were divided into the control group(conventional treatment,n=51)and the study group according to the random number table method(CO2 laser treatment on the basis of the control group,n=51).The efficacy, vaginal microorganism,HPV conversion rate and recurrence rate were compared between the two groups, and the clinical experience of CO2 laser treatment for VAIN was summarized.Result:After treatment, the cure rate in the study group was was higher than that in the control group, the recurrence rate in the study group was lower than that in the control group, with statistical significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the Nugent score and the pH value of vaginal secretions in the study group were lower than that of the control group, with statistical significant(P<0.05).The vaginal micronormality or recovery rate in the study group was higher than that of the control group, with statistical significant(P<0.05).After treatment,interferon(INF-γ)and interleukin 12(IL-12)were higher than those in the study group, and interleukin 4(IL-4)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the HPV conversion rate and total response rate of the study group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:CO2 laser treatment of VAIN patients can improve the cure rate,HPV turning rate, balance vaginal microecology, and reduce vaginal inflammation and recurrence rate.
