The Effect of Xuanbai Chengqi Tang on the Treatment of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome Caused by Sepsis and Its Influence on Oxidative Stress-related Indicators
Objective:To explore the effect of Xuanbai Chengqi Tang on the treatment of acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS)caused by sepsis and its impact on oxidative stress-related indicators.Method:62 patients with sepsis induced ARDS admitted to the Nanjing Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital from June 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects and divided into control group and experimental group according to random number table method,with 31 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional drugs,while the experimental group was treated with Xuanbai Chengqi Tang.The treatment effects,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores,oxidative stress indicators[malondialdehyde(MDA),superoxide dismutase(SOD),glutathione peroxidase(GSH-PX)],and the occurrence of adverse reaction of the two groups were analyzed.Result:The total effective rate in the experimental group was higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores of the experimental group were higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the MDA in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group,while SOD and GSH-PX were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no difference in the comparison of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Xuanbai Chengqi Tang has a definite effect on treating ARDS caused by sepsis,can significantly alleviate clinical symptoms,effectively regulate oxidative stress response.
