Effect of Chinese Angelica Xugu Decoction Plus or Minus Assisted External Fixation Stenting in the Treatment of Patients with Traumatic Tibia and Fibula Fractures
Objective:To investigate the therapeutic effect of Chinese Angelica Xugu Decoction plus or minus assisted external fixation stenting on patients with traumatic tibia and fibula fractures.Method:105 patients with traumatic tibia and fibula fractures admitted to Zhangzhou Third Hospital from May 2021 to May 2023 were selected as the study objects.According to the treatment plan,52 patients treated with external fixation stenting were included in the control group,and 53 patients treated with external fixation stenting plus Chinese Angelica Xugu Decoction were included in the study group.Incision healing time and fracture healing time were compared between the two groups,and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,callus imaging index and joint function[Oswestry Disability Index(ODI)and knee function score of Hospital for Special Surgery(HSS)]were compared before treatment and 8 weeks after treatment.Result:The incision healing time and fracture healing time in the study group were shorter than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 8 weeks of treatment,the scores of activity limitation,ecchymosis,swelling,pain and muscle tension in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 8 weeks of treatment,callus density,callus volume,fracture edge and callus edge score in study group were higher than those in control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 8 weeks of treatment,the ODI score of the study group was lower than that of the control group,and the HSS knee function score was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Adding or reducing Chinses Angelica Xugu Decoction can accelerate fracture healing,relieve clinical symptoms,reduce dysfunction and improve joint function in patients with traumatic tibia and fibula fractures after external fixation stenting,has a high application value.
