Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of Zopiclone and Alprazolam on elderly patients with insomnia in the community.Method:70 elderly insomnia patients treated in the Chronic Disease Hospital of Shandong Province from September 2023 to September 2024 were selected for this study.The patients were randomly assigned into control group receiving Alprazolam,and an observation group receiving both Alprazolam and Zopiclone,with 35 each group.Clinical efficacy,sleep quality(PSQI),cognitive function(MMSE),treatment satisfaction,and adverse drug reactions between the two groups were compared.Result:After treatment,the observation group showed significant improvements in PSQI and MMSE scores compared to the control group.The clinical efficacy and treatment satisfaction were also significantly higher in the observation group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in adverse drug reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Zopiclone and Alprazolam effectively improves sleep quality,cognitive function,and psychological status in elderly insomnia patients,and enhances treatment satisfaction.
