The F2 population derived from a cross between Nanjing35 and N22 as the research object,the QTL controlling 1000-grain weight were mapped through the construction of a genetic linkage map.The results showed that 1000-grain weight exhibited a normal continuous distribution in F2 population,indicating that was quantitative traits controlled by multiple genes.Three putative QTL was identified on chromosomes 3 and 6 using WinQTL-cart2.5,two QTL were detected in chromosome 3.qTGW3a,qTGW3b and qTGW6explained 15.03%,17.65% and 7.87% of the observed phenotypic variance,respectively,qTGW3a had the alleles contributing to positive effect which were derived from Nanjing35 while qTGW3b and qTGW6 alleles from N22.The modes of gene action were mainly additive in our study.
