Quinoa has swept the world in recent years because of its special nutritional value.It has the biological characteristics of drought,cold,and salty resistance,which are accorded with the climatic and ecological characteristics of Gansu province,worth to be widely promoted.According to analyzing the botanical characteristics and nutritional value of quinoa which planted in different areas in Gansu province and combining its natural advantages,the current situation and existing problems of quinoa industry in Gansu were analyzed,in order to propose a new development strategy for the industry.
