Effects of Base Application of Zinc Fertilizer on Antioxidant Activity and Dry Matter Accumulation of Millet
Based on outdoor pot experiment of Jigu1 9 and Jigu21,the effects of base application of zinc fertilizer at different concentrations (0kg/hm2,2.25kg/hm2 and 4.50kg/hm2) on antioxidant activity and dry matter accumulation were investigated. The results showed that the base application of zinc fertilizer could greatly promote zinc enrichment in roots and leaves of two varieties of millet. The effect difference of zinc fertilizer on the zinc content in roots of millet reached a significant level, and the effect of zinc fertilizer on the content of zinc in leaves of Jigu21 was significant.Compared with the activity of SOD,2.25kg/hm2 zinc fertilizer was applied on Jigul9 and its effect was better, and the influence difference in Jign21 between the 2.25kg/hm2 and 4.50kg/hm2 zinc fertilizer was not significant.Compared with the activity of POD,the reaction Jigul9 and Jigu21 were sensitive to the application of zinc fertilizer at the concentration of 4.50kg/hm2.Base application of zinc fertilizer treatment promoted the accumulation of dry matter in millet. It was appropriate for Jignl9 and Jigu21 to apply zinc fertilizer at the concentration of 2.25kg/hm2.
