Comparison of Grass Yield,Agronomic Traits and Forage Quality of Different Oat Varieties
The superior oat varieties that are adaptive to planting in the Hulun Buir of Inner Mongolia were identified by a comparative analysis of nine oat types'grass yield,agronomic characteristics,and fodder quality.The findings indicated that BL series varieties had more fertile days than Qinghai 444 did.Nine oat cultivars were compared,and BL930 and BL936 both produced greater grass yields,agronomic features,and fodder quality than the other varieties.The comprehensive evaluation of the nine oat varieties in Tenihe Experimental Station was ranked as follows:BL930>BL936>BL929>BL931>BL932>BL935>Qinghai 444>BL933>BL934;and BL930>BL936>BL935>BL933>BL929>BL934>BL932>BL931>Qinghai 444 at Ewenke Experimental Station.BL930 and BL936 were found by using the membership function method to be the top two oat varieties those were suitable for cultivation and promotion in the Hulun Buir region.
