Modeling and analyzing of layer thickness after rolling for the two-layered metal clad plate produced by asynchronous rolling
Based on the asynchronous rolling composite problem of double layer metal clad plates with the same diameter and different speeds,a mathematical calculation model for the thickness of the layer after asynchronous rolling was established using the stream function method and upper bound method.Using the model for asynchronous rolling finite element simulation, then comparing the finite element simulation results with the theoretical results, the established theoretical model has an error range of 2.55%to 4.17%.This model can not only quickly calculate the thickness ratio of rolled clad plates, but also quickly grasp the influence of different process parameters(reduction, initial plate thickness, differential speed ratio, thickness ratio)on the thickness ratio after rolling under a single working condition, which provides important reference for setting and optimizing production processes.
