Intelligent repair method for the die of indirect copper extrusion press
To address the difficulty in achieving automatic mold repair for reverse copper extrusion machines,which is that the repair device cannot adapt to different molds,a self-adaptive intelligent mold repair system is proposed.The system consists of the die rotation positioning device and the adaptive die-repair device.The system consists of a mold rotation positioning device and an adaptive mold repairer.After the mold is rotated and positioned,the grinding brush of the adaptive mold repairer rotates and extends into the mold hole for polishing under the drive of the motor.When there is no the mold hole,the grinding brush rod is bounced back on the end face of the mold,thus achieving adaptive repair of molds with different numbers of mold holes.At the same time,in order to realize better automate and intelligent die-repair,the digital platform for the die-repair device is constructed,based on the self-learning die-repair process and teaching technology of robot.The robot obtains the die data by the computer host input or the visual recognition technology.Then according to the robot body posture,fixture replacement and clamping state,die state,etc.,the process and algorithm are set to achieve adaptive repair of different die specifications.The system has been successfully applied to two devices to distinguish the cleaning and lubrication effects of the extrusion cylinder and mold,and the effect is good.
