Working principle and fault analysis of point cooling system in 1 420 mm cold rolling-pickling production line
Two faults, internal fluid leakage and core jamming,in point cooling system of 1420 mm cold rolling-pickling production line at a steel plant, directly affect the control capability of strip steel plate shape. For the problem of internal liquid leakage in the point spray valve, the internal structure and liquid leakage path of the point spray valve were analyzed. The liquid leakage situation was verified through a self-developed point spray valve test bench, and it was found that the damage to the valve core seal was the fundamental cause of the liquid leakage. For the initial occurrence of liquid leakage, special equipment should be used for pressure testing. For valve core jamming in point spray valves,an inequality for valve core opening and closing conditions was established, and key parameters such as spring stiffness and friction force were measured in the laboratory.Through the inequality,it was found that compressed air should be adjusted at the upper limit, and measures were taken to reduce the frictional resistance during valve core action, such as installing a Y-shaped filter at the main pipeline of the injection valve station and designing a"self-cleaning"function for the point spray valve,to solve the problem of valve core jamming.
