一直以来,研究者对于霍布斯政治哲学中不受制约的主权者和公民个体之间的关系争论不休.然而,这些讨论大多忽略了想象在霍布斯国家观中的关键地位.通过对想象在人与世界关系、人与人关系中的阐发和利用,霍布斯揭示了国家作为人造人格的想象性和合作性.面对共和主义者的诘难,霍布斯以想象的思维运动取代了共和主义式的积极行动,最终指向君主和臣民围绕想象进行的合作.霍布斯的国家人格思想内涵丰富,揭示了政治观念与政治事实的复杂关联.
Abstract
Researchers have long argued about the relationship between the un-restricted sovereign and the individual citizen in Hobbes's political philosophy.How-ever,most of these discussions ignore the key status of imagination in Hobbes's idea of state.Through the elucidation and employment of imagination in the relationship between man and the world and interpersonal relationship,Hobbes reveals that the nature of the state as an artificial person is imagination and cooperation.Faced with the criticism of republicans,Hobbes replaces republican-style positive action with the thinking motion of imagination,which ultimately refers to the cooperation between monarch and subject around imagination.Hobbes's thoughts about the person of state are inclusive and show the complex connection between political ideas and political facts.
