As a metaphor of publicity,"Tianxia"in the speech of Confucius delineates the field in which politics takes place.The"Wu Wai(无外)"principle of Tianxia-politics holds true in both the cases of national boundary and political boundary.Unlike the national boundary that depends on systems of power,the political boundary with publicity at its core is based on the Body-way connection.The bodily dichotomy between the mental and the physical is never accepted by Confucius,who thinks of human body as the complete body capable of resonation-empathy.Therefore,body-connection,not general will or general interests,becomes the basic form of publicity.Tianxia-politics is established on the expansion of body-connection,along with height,breadth and depth.
