Research on Fusion of Semantic Coding and Classical Channel Coding
Current research on semantic communication has not yet elucidated the relationship between semantic coding and classical chan-nel coding,the feasibility of semantic coding within existing communication frameworks,and the critical factors influencing semantic coding.In this paper,we conduct theoretical analysis of the semantic communication system based on joint source-channel coding and perform the integrated experiment between semantic coding and traditional channel coding.These efforts partially reveal the potential advantages of se-mantic communication,establish the relationship between semantic coding and classical channel coding,and lay the foundation for the fu-ture application of semantic communication within classical communication frameworks.
