As one of the focuses of global public health problems,chronic liver disease has the characteristics of a long course of disease and many late complications,which requires doctors to achieve standardized management of the whole course of the disease.In the long-term clinical practice,the author found that the constitution of traditional Chinese medicine has an important influence on the occurrence and development direction of chronic liver disease.Therefore,the author led the team to introduce infrared thermal imaging technology into the constitutional identification of traditional Chinese medicine and formed the fifth diagnosis on the basis of the four diagnostic methods of traditional Chinese medicine:infrared thermal map of human body.The academic thought of"integration of body and disease"was proposed and integrated into the syndrome differentiation of six meridians of typhoid fever,the theory of hidden pathogen and the constitution of traditional Chinese medicine,and finally,the theory of six meridians constitution was formed.Under the guidance of this theory,the diagnosis and treatment of chronic liver disease has achieved good results and formed a relatively complete new diagnosis and treatment mode"disease differentiation-constitution differentiation-syndrome differentiation."It is worthy of clinical application.
