Summary of the best evidence for integrated traditional and western medicine weight loss management in patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease
Objective:To systematically search and summarize the best evidence of weight loss management in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD),and to provide evidence-based reference for clinical weight loss management in patients with NAFLD.Methods:The method of evidence-based literature research and PIPOST model were used to search the evidence level from high to low in relevant professional databases at home and abroad. Finally, two independent researchers conducted the sorting, quality evaluation, and evidence extraction of the retrieved literature, and finally summarized the best evidence for the management of weight loss in NAFLD patients. Results:A total of 28 kinds of literature was included through systematic evidence search, including 11 guidelines,12 systematic reviews, and five expert consensus articles. In total,32 pieces of best evidence were obtained from nine subjects, including population inclusion, assessment and screening, multidisciplinary teams, management goals, diet intervention, exercise intervention, traditional Chinese medicine intervention, behavioral intervention, monitoring, and follow-up.Conclusion:By summarizing the best evidence of weight loss management in patients with NAFLD,evidence-based evidence can be provided for the formulation of weight loss management programs in patients with NAFLD,and reference and guidance can be provided for clinical weight loss management in patients with NAFLD.
