Therapeutic efficacy observation on the treatment of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis with Jiawei Lizhong Tang combined with dorsal yu acupoint burrowing
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Jiawei Lizhong Tang combined with dorsal yu acupoint embedding on patients with non-alcoholic steatohepatitis.Methods:A total of 118 NASH patients attending Liuzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to December 2022 was selected for the study.They were divided into a control group and an observation group according to a simple randomized numerical table,with 59 cases in each group.The control group was treated with the compound glycyrrhizin capsule,and the observation group was treated with Jiawei Lizhong Tang combined with dorsal yu acupoint embedding,with a course of 12 weeks.Anthropological indicators of body weight,waist circumference,body mass index(BMI),liver function indicators of alanine aminotransferase(ALT),menthyl amino acid transferase(AST),glutamine transpeptidase(GGT),total bilirubin(TBil),lipid indicators of triacylglycerol(TG),total cholesterol(TC),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),total lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),total lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),total lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),glycemic indexes of fasting blood glucose(FBG),fasting insulin(FINS),insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR),liver stiffness(LSM),controlled attenuation parameter(CAP),liver/spleen CT ratio,etc.,and the clinical efficacy were evaluated at the end of treatment.Results:After 12 weeks of treatment,compared with the pre-treatment period,the weight,waist circumference,BMI,serum ALT,AST,GGT,TBil and TG,TC,LDL-C,HDL-C,fasting glucose,fasting insulin and insulin resistance index,LSM,CAP,and the liver/spleen CT ratio of patients in the two groups were all improved(P＜0.05).The improvement of the above indexes in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group after treatment(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis with Jiawei Lizhong Tang combined with dorsal acupoint burrowing can effectively improve the condition of the patients,reduce the liver function damage,regulate the blood lipids,insulin resistance,and hepatic steatosis,and the effect is better than that of the western medicine therapy group.
