The value of MRI in the diagnosis of microvascular invasion of liver cancer in patients with primary liver cancer
Objective:To study the value of MRI in the diagnosis of microvascular invasion of liver cancer in patients with primary liver cancer. Methods:A total of 100 patients with primary liver cancer treated in our hospital from January 2022 to June 2023 were selected for MRI analysis, and the diagnostic value of MRI in the classification of liver cancer microvascular invasion in patients with primary liver cancer was evaluated. Results:Among 100 patients with liver cancer,28 cases were detected with MVI,accounting for 28.00%,and 72 cases without MVI,accounting for 72.00%.The MRI accuracy rate was 93.33%(28/30),and there was no significant difference between groups(P>0.05).In patients with or without MVI,there were significant differences in the qualitative MRI image features such as peri-tumor enhancement, intratumoral necrosis, intratumoral fat, intratumoral artery, tumor margin, tumor envelope,multifocal,low-density ring,etc.(P<0.05).Among 100 patients with liver cancer,MRI detected 72 cases of M0,accounting for 72.00%,16 cases of M1,accounting for 16.00%,and 12 cases of M2,accounting for 12.00%.MRI accuracy rates were 97.22%(70/72),100%(16/16),85.71%(12/14)of M0,respectively.There was no significant difference between groups(P>0.05).Among patients with different MVI grades, there were significant differences in the qualitative MRI image features of peritumor enhancement, intratumoral necrosis, intratumoral fat, intratumoral artery, tumor margin, tumor envelope,multifocal,low-density ring,etc.(P<0.05).The sensitivity, specificity, and AUC of MRI for MVI classification were 71.54%,70.21%,and 0.772.Conclusion:MRI has a high detection rate, which can effectively detect the classification of liver cancer microvascular invasion in patients with primary liver cancer, and has diagnostic value.
