Exploration on the prescription regularity of traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of primary liver cancer based on latent structure combined with data mining
Objective:Exploration on the prescription regularity of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)for the treatment of primary liver cancer based on latent structure combined with data mining. Methods:Data were collected from inpatient clinical records of PLC patients at Hubei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine between November 2016 and March 2022.A database was established for data analysis. Results:A total of 1,396 prescriptions were included, involving 357 different Chinese herbs,58 of which were high-frequency herbs.Additionally,9 associated rules and 9 comprehensive clusters were generated. Conclusion:The primary treatment approach for PLC involves tonifying the body's vital energy and reinforcing deficiencies. This approach should be integrated throughout the entire disease progression and should not rely solely on a single medication.Instead, the treatment regimen should encompass Qi tonification, blood nourishment,Yin enrichment, and Yang warming.Additionally,anti-cancer strategies targeting pathogenic factors, including Qi stagnation, phlegm, dampness, stasis, and toxins, are essential.Fundamental therapeutic methods encompass promoting Qi circulation, resolving depression, transforming phlegm and dampness, activating blood circulation, dissolving stasis, clearing heat, and detoxifying.Furthermore, specific TCM syndromes such as Yang deficiency and cold congelation observed in clinical practice warrant further exploration and discussion.
