Meta-analysis of Modified Danggui Buxue Decoction for the Treatment of Chronic Heart Failure with Anemia
Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of modified Danggui Buxue Decoction for the treatment of chronic heart failure(CHF)with anemia by Meta-analysis.Methods:The Chinese(CNKI,VIP,WanFang,SinoMed)and English(EMbase,PubMed,Cochrane Library,Web of Science)databases were searched to collect randomized controlled trials of modified Danggui Buxue Decoction for the treatment of CHF with anemia.Meta-analysis was performed using Revman 5.4.1 software. Results:A total of 11 RCTs with 870 patients were included.Meta-analysis showed that the clinical effective rate in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group(OR=3.54,95%CI 2.34-5.35,P<0.000 01),the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)score was significantly lower than that in control group(MD=-3.93,95%CI-4.57--3.28,P<0.000 01),the N-terminal B-type natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)was significantly lower than that in control group(MD=-1 104.11,95%CI-1 669.10--539.13,P =0.000 1),the left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)was significantly higher than that in control group(MD=8.02,95%CI 6.71-9.33,P<0.000 01),and hemoglobin(Hb)was significantly higher than that in control group(MD=13.52,95%CI 3.95-23.09,P =0.006).Conclusion:Available evidence indicates that Modified Danggui Buxue Decoction can effectively improve cardiac function and anemia in patients with CHF and anemia, and improve clinical efficacy.
