Objective:To summarize the distributions of dilated cardiomyopathy(DCM)syndrome and syndrome elements. Methods:A total of 449 inpatients diagnosed with DCM in the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Chinese Medicine and Henan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2010 to June 2020 were collected by retrospective study.EpiData 3.1 software was used to establish case data database, and IBM SPSS 25.0 software was used for frequency calculation,Logistic regression analysis, and cluster analysis. Results:The core symptoms of 449 cases of patients with DCM were chest tightness, palpitation, asthma, edema, fatigue, anorexia, dark tongue and light tongue. The common syndromes were stagnation of water and dampness, obstruction of collaterals by blood stasis, deficiency of Qi and Yin,deficiency of Qi and blood stasis, deficiency of heart and spleen, and Yang deficiency and water generalization. The common disease location elements were heart, spleen, lung, and kidney. The common syndrome elements were Qi deficiency, blood stasis,Yin deficiency, water stagnation,phlegm-turbidity and Yang deficiency.Cluster analysis showed 12 kinds of significant syndrome types. Conclusion:The establishment of DCM syndrome differentiation system with syndrome and syndrome elements as the core is beneficial to guide clinical diagnosis and treatment.
