Effect of Baduanjin on Cardiac Rehabilitation after Percutaneous Coronary Intervention:a Meta-analysis
Objective:To evaluate the effect of Baduanjin on cardiac rehabilitation after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods:Randomized controlled trials of Baduanjin intervention for cardiac rehabilitation after acute myocardial infarction or coronary heart disease PCI were searched by computer from China National Knowledge Network(CNKI),WanFang Database,Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database(VIP),China Biomedical Literature Service System(SinoMed),PubMed,Web of Science, and the Cochrane Library. The search period was from self-built database to February 28,2023.The Cochrane risk bias evaluation tool was used to evaluate the methodological quality of the selected literatures, and RevMan 5.3 software was used for statistical analysis. Results:A total of 11 randomized controlled trials were included, involving 994 patients after PCI.The results of meta-analysis showed that in the experimental group,PCI after acute myocardial infarction(MD=3.32,95%CI 1.60-5.04,P =0.000 2),PCI after coronary heart disease(MD=7.48,95%CI 6.30-8.67,P<0.000 01)left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)improved better than control group. In experimental group, the incidence of N-terminal brain natriuretic peptide precursor(NT-proBNP)(MD=-67.11,95%CI-90.51--43.71,P<0.000 01)and cardiovascular adverse events(MACE)(OR=0.17,95%CI 0.08-0.37,P<0.000 01)were lower than that of the control group. Conclusion:Existing evidence shows that the intervention of Baduanjin combined with conventional treatment in patients with acute myocardial infarction or coronary heart disease after PCI are superior to conventional treatment alone in improving cardiac function and prognosis. However, due to the limited number of included literatures and the lack of high-level evidence,it is still necessary to conduct multi-center,large sample and high-quality randomized controlled trials for verification in the future.
