Clinical Study of Shenfu Injection for Treating Acute Aggravation of Chronic Heart Failure with Heart-kidney Yang Deficiency
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Shenfu injection on acute aggravation of chronic heart failure with heart-kidney Yang deficiency.Methods:Sixty patients with acute aggravation of chronic heart failure were selected and divided into observation group and control group according to random number table,with 30 cases in each group.Observation group was given Shenfu injection plus conventional western medicine treatment,control group was given only conventional western medicine treatment.N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP),high-sensitivity cardiac troponin l(hs-cTnl),six-minute walk test(6MWT),Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire(MLHFQ)score,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,and New York Heart Association(NYHA)heart function grade were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results:Compared with before treatment,the levels of NT-proBNP and hs-cTnl decreased in two groups after treatment(P＜0.05),and there were no statistical significance in the levels of NT-proBNP and hs-cTnl between the two groups after treatment(P＞0.05).Compared with before treatment,6MWT and MLHFQ scores of both groups improved after treatment(P＜0.05),and the improvement degree of observation group were better than that of the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the scores of each single TCM syndrome in the two groups were lower than before treatment(P＜0.05),and the scores of shortness of breath,fatigue,cold extremities,and low voice in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The total effective rate was 96.7％in the observation group and 80.0％in the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Shenfu injection combined with conventional western medicine can improve the cardiac function,exercise tolerance and quality of life of patients with acute aggravation of heart-kidney Yang deficiency chronic heart failure
