Analysis of Influencing Factors of Cognitive Dysfunction in Patients with Chronic Heart Failure
Objective:To analyze the clinical characteristics and influencing factors of cognitive dysfunction in patients with chronic heart failure. Methods:Patients with chronic heart failure from December 2020 to December 2021 were selected.According to the scores of Montreal Cognitive Assessment(MoCA)scale and Mini-mental State Examination(MMSE)scale,114 patients with concurrent cognitive impairment were classified as cognitive impairment group(A group)and 78 patients without concurrent cognitive impairment were classified as cognitive normal group(B group). The clinical data between two groups were compared. The influencing factors of cognitive dysfunction in patients with chronic heart failure were analyzed by multivariate binary Logistic regression. Results:Age,New York Heart Association(NYHA)cardiac function grade, amino terminal B-type brain natriuretic peptide precursor(NT-proBNP),homocysteine(Hcy)and cystatin C(CysC)levels in the A group were higher than those in the B group, and education level, hemoglobin(Hb),and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)were lower than those in the B group(P<0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that age, educated level,LVEF,Hcy and NT-proBNP were independent risk factors related cognitive dysfunction in patients with chronic heart failure(P<0.05).Conclusion:Advanced age,low educated level, elevated Hcy,elevated NT-proBNP and reduced LVEF were independent risk factors related cognitive dysfunction in patients with chronic heart failure.
