Effect of Pinggan Huoxue Formula on Hcy,IL-6 and Ventricular Remodeling Indexes in H-type Hypertension Patients with Left Ventricular Hypertrophy
Objective:To observe the effects of Pinggan Huoxue formula on homocysteine(Hcy),interleukin-6(IL-6)and ventricular remodeling indexes in H-type hypertension patients with left ventricular hypertrophy.Methods:One hundred and twenty patients with H-type hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy were divided into control group and Chinese medicine group according to random number table method,with 60 patients in each group.The patients of control group were treated with sacubactril sodium tablets and folic acid tablets,and the patients of Chinese medicine group were treated with Chinese medicine on the basis of oral Western medicine.After 12 weeks of treatment,the clinical syndromic efficacy,antihypertensive efficacy,left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),ventricular septal thickness(IVST),left ventricular posterior wall thickness(LVPWT),serum Hcy and IL-6 levels were compared between the two groups.Results:After treatment,the total effective rate was 95.0％in the Chinese medicine group and that was 76.7％in the control group,with statistical significance(P＜0.05).The total effective rate of antihypertensive effect was 96.67％in the Chinese medicine group and that was 88.33％in the control group,with statistical significance(P＜0.05).After treatment,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,LVEDD,IVST,LVPWT,Hcy and IL-6 in both groups decreased than those before treatment,and those in the Chinese medicine group were less than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Pinggan Huoxue formula could significantly reduce 24 h mean systolic blood pressure,24 h mean diastolic blood pressure,serum Hcy,IL-6,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,and improve left ventricular hypertrophy and clinical symptoms in H-type hypertension patients with left ventricular hypertrophy.
