Objective:To summarize the prescription and medication rules for treating premature ventricular comple(PVC)by Professor Mao Jingyuan.Methods:The valid medical records of PVC patients diagnosed by Professor Mao and treated with Chinese medicine were selected.Microsoft Excel 2010 was used to establish a comprehensive"PVC Patient Information Database"for the systematic extraction of patients'basic information,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome types,and prescription medication details.The medication and compatibility characteristics of Professor Mao for treating PVC were explored by association rules and cluster analysis methods in R and SPSS software.Results:A total of 98 patients with PVC were included,including 44 males and 54 females,with an average age of(58.12±13.72)years old was used.The syndrome types were yin deficiency and blood stasis,phlegm heat and blood stasis,and phlegm stasis intertwined.The deficiency syndrome elements were yin deficiency,yang deficiency,and qi deficiency,while the solid syndrome elements included blood stasis,phlegm,and heat(fire).The medication involved 104 ingredients,mainly including Rehmannia glutinosa,Salvia miltiorrhiza,scorpion and tangerine peel,which was subject to clinical differentiation for treatment.Conclusion:Professor Mao believes that patients with PVC often experience deficiency and blood stasis.The main idea of its treatment is to nourish yin and quench wind,dissipate blood stasis and unblock collaterals.The core prescriptions for clinical treatment of PVC include Rehmannia glutinosa,Salvia miltiorrhiza,scorpion and tangerine peel,and medication should based on specific syndrome differentiation.
