Effect of Pinggan Jiangya Ointment on the Yin Deficiency and Yang Hyperactivity Type Hypertension
Objective:To observe the effect of Pinggan Jiangya ointment on Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity type hypertension. Methods:A total of 110 patients with grade 2 Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity of hypertension were divided into two groups according to the random number table method.The control group was treated with nifedipine controlled release tablet combined with alisartan ester table,and the treatment group was treated with Pinggan depressor cream on the basis of the treatment of the control group for 3 months. The clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared after 3 months. The ambulatous blood pressure,blood pressure variation coefficient,blood lipids,atherosclerosis index ( AI),and traditional Chinese medicine ( TCM) symptom score were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the treatment group was 94.54％,which was higher than that of the control group(80.00％,P<0.05).The scores of dizziness,headache and five upset heat in two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the decrease was more obvious in the treatment group after treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant change in the lumbar and knee tenderness score of the control group after treatment(P>0.05),and that of the treatment group were lower than that before treatment(P<0.05).The mean systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure of 24 h,day and night in both groups were lower than that before treatment(P<0.05),and the decrease was more significant in the treatment group(P<0.05).The standard deviation of systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure in 24 h,day and night after treatment in both groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the reduction was more significant in the treatment group(P<0.05). After treatment,total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C) in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),and high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C) was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The AI in the control group after treatment showed no significant change compared with that before treatment(P>0.05),and the AI in the treatment group after treatment was lower than that before treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion:Pinggan Jiangya ointment can assist in lowering blood pressure,reduce blood pressure variability,antagonize lipid metabolism disorder,control arteriosclerosis,and effectively improve the clinical symptoms of primary hypertension patients with Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity.
