Study on the Chemical Constituents of Pithecellobium clypearia
Objective:To study the chemical constituents of Pilhecellobium clypearia. Methods:Silica gel column chromatography and Sephadex LH-20 were used to separate and purify compounds from the EtOAc soluble fraction of Pithecellobium clypearia. 9 compounds were elucidated on the basis of physicochemical properties and spectrascopic analysis. Results; They were identified as β-Sitos-terol(1) ,tritriacontane(2) ,5-hydroxy-3,7,3',4'-tetramethoxyflavone(3) ,oleanolic acid(4) ,5,4'-dihydroxy-3,7,3'-trimethoxyflavone (S) ,α-amyrin(6) ,luteolin(7) ,ursolic acid(8) ,luteoloside(9). Conclusion: Compounds 3 and S are isolated from this plant for the first time.
