Chemical Constituents from the Underground Parts of Saururus chinensis
Objective:To study the chemical constituents from the underground parts of Saururus chinensis.Methods;The acetone extract of the underground parts of Saururus chinensis were isolated and purified by column chromatography on MCI,silica gel,Sephadex LH-20,the structures of obtained compounds were identified on the basis of spectroscopic data.Results;Thirteen compounds were isola-ted from the underground parts of Saururus chinensis and identified as ent-4β-hydroxy-10α-ethoxyaromadendrane(1),ent-4α-hydroxy-10β-alloaromadendranediol-10-monomethylether(2),4β-10α-aromadendranediol(3),spathulenol(4),meicocarpin(5),1,4-bis(3,4-dimethyoxyphenyl)-2,3-dimethyl-1,4-butanedione(6),acetylpolysyphorin(7),(-)-(7R,8R)-7-O-acetylraphidecursinol B(8),eryth-ro-2-(4-allyl-2,6-dimethoxyphenoxy)-1-(3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl)-propan-1-ol(9),saururin C(10),(-)-5-exo-acefoxybornyl acetate(11),sarisan(12),elemicin(13),respectively.Conclusion:Among them,compounds 1 to 4,9,11 are isolated from Saururus chinensis for the first time.
