Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Huichun San(回春散)combined with Diazepam Tablets in the prevention and treatment of febrile seizures(FS)in children.Methods 105 pediatric patients who visited the emergency department of Jiangxi Children's Hospital from September 2021 to August 2022 and experi-enced FS for the first time were selected as the study subjects.They were randomly divided into a control group of 53 cases and a treatment group of 52 cases using a random number table method.The control group was given oral Dia-zepam Tablets on the basis of routine antipyretic treatment,while the treatment group was given oral children Hui-chun San on the basis of the control group's treatment method.The course of treatment for both groups was 3 days.The results showed that the time for fever relief and the number of times a single hot course of oral Diazepam Tablets was less in the treatment group than in the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the control group was 41.51％(22/53),while in the treatment group it was 9.62％(5/52).The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The recurrence rate of the control group were 35.85％(19/53)and 32.18％(25/87),re-spectively;The treatment groups were 17.31％(9/52)and 15.63％(15/96),respectively.The difference in recur-rence rate and recurrence rate between the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of Huichun San and Diazepam Tablets has a significant therapeutic effect on the prevention and treat-ment of pediatric FS.It can significantly shorten the fever relief time,reduce the number of oral Diazepam Tablets,lower the recurrence rate of seizures,and has high safety.It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
