Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of pediatric tuina in treating children with allergic rhini-tis of lung and spleen qi deficiency type.Methods 60 cases of children with allergic rhinitis of lung and spleen qi deficiency type who attended the pediatric outpatient clinic of The Affiliated TCM Hospital of Ningxia Medical Uni-versity from January to December 2021 were selected and divided into a treatment group and a control group accord-ing to the random number table method,each with 30 cases.The control group was given levocetirizine hydrochlo-ride oral solution and Yupingfeng granules orally for 1 month;the treatment group was given pediatric tuina therapy once a day for 6 consecutive sessions,with 1 day of rest in between each session,for a total of 4 sessions.Results The total effective rate was 93.33％(28/30)in the treatment group and 83.33％(25/30)in the control group,and the difference between the 2 total effective rates was not statistically significant after statistical analysis(P＞0.05).Before treatment,the TCM scores of the 2 groups were comparable with no statistical significance(P＞0.05);after treatment,the TCM scores of the 2 groups were significantly reduced,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05)when compared with that of the same group before treatment,and the reduction of nasal congestion,diz-ziness,dizziness and heaviness,tiredness and nausea,and the score of loose stools and total score of the treatment group was more significant,and when compared with that of the control group after treatment,the difference was sta-tistically significant(P＜0.05).Three months after the end of treatment,the total number of effective cases in the two groups was followed up,and the relapse rate was 32.00％(8/25)in the control group and 7.14％(2/28)in the treatment group,and the difference was statistically significant when comparing the relapse rates of the two groups(P＜0.05).Conclusion Pediatric tuina treatment of allergic rhinitis in children with deficiency of lung and spleen qi deficiency type can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of children,the efficacy is accurate and not easy to recur,and it is worth to be promoted and applied in the clinic.
