Professor GUO Suxiang believed that the pathogenesis of allergic rhinitis in children was based on the deficiency of lung qi and the external attack of wind pathogens.The syndrome belongs to the syndrome of the de-ficiency of the root and the excess of the root.The most common clinical syndrome is the deficiency of lung qi and cold,which is often prone to tiring the spleen.She emphasizes that the disease should be treated with both the sur-face cause and the root cause,and both internal and external regulation.Based on the basic principle of"warm the lungs and unobstruct the nose orifices",and modification of Cang'erzi San(苍耳子散)and Mahuang Tang(麻黄汤)are used to facilitate the nose and orifices,replenish the lungs and spleen,relieve symptoms,care for children's vital energy,improve the body's ability to actively resist pathogens,and thus reduce disease recurrence.And a medical case is presented for verification.
