Clinical observation on treating 35 cases of girls with simple premature breast development of liver depression and phlegm dampness stagnation type by RupiHeji(乳癖合剂)
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of RupiHeji(乳癖合剂)in the treatment of simple pre-mature breast development in girls of liver depression and phlegm dampness stagnation type.Methods From Janu-ary 2021 to December 2022,70 girls with simple premature breast development of liver depression and phlegm dampness stagnation type treated in the Department of Pediatrics,Gaoyou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected and divided into a treatment group and a control group according to the random number table method,with 35 cases in each group.The control group was given psychological counseling and lifestyle intervention.The treatment group was given oral RupiHeji on the basis of psychological counseling and lifestyle intervention in the control group.Both groups were treated continuously for 2 months.Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was 94.29％(33/35),which was significantly higher than 68.57％(24/35)of the control group.The differ-ence between the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in Tanner staging scores between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05),which was comparable.After treatment,the Tanner staging scores in the two groups were significantly decreased when compared with those in the same group before treatment,differences being significant(P＜0.05),and the decrease in the treatment group was more signifi-cant(P＜0.05).Conclusion RupiHeji is effective in the treatment of simple premature breast development in girls of liver depression and phlegm dampness stagnation type,and can significantly reduce the Tanner staging score,which is worthy of clinical application.
