Clinical observation on 37 cases of central precocious puberty in girls with flaring of fire due to yin deficiency syndrome treated by modified Danzhi Xiaoyao San(丹栀逍遥散)combined with lifestyle intervention
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of modified Danzhi Xiaoyao San combined with lifestyle intervention in the treatment of central precocious puberty(CPP)in girls.Methods 65 CPP girls admitted to the Department of Pediatrics at the First Affiliated Hospital of Shihezi University from February 2021 to February 2023 were selected as the study subjects.They were divided into a control group of 28 cases and a treatment group of 37 cases based on whether they received traditional Chinese medicine treatment.The control group received lifestyle in-tervention,while the treatment group received modified Danzhi Xiaoyao San treatment on the basis of lifestyle inter-vention in the control group.After 3 months of treatment,both groups were statistically analyzed for clinical efficacy.Results There was no statistically significant difference(P＞0.05)in the size of the breast nucleus,uterine diam-eter,and ovarian volume between the two groups before treatment,indicating comparability.After treatment,the size of the breast nucleus,uterine diameter,and ovarian volume in both groups significantly decreased.Compared with the same group before treatment,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05),and the reduction was more sig-nificant in the treatment group(P＜0.05).There was no statistically significant difference(P＞0.05)in the levels of luteinizing hormone(LH)and follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)between the two groups before treatment,indica-ting comparability.After treatment,the levels of LH and FSH in the treatment group significantly decreased.Com-pared with the same group before treatment and the control group after treatment,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The levels of LH and FSH in the control group decreased after treatment,but the difference was not statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total effective rate of the control group was 60.71％(17/28),while that of the treatment group was 86.49％(32/37).The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Modified Danzhi Xiaoyao San combined with lifestyle intervention can effectively improve clinical symptoms,reduce sex hormone levels,and have significant therapeutic effects in the treatment of CPP in girls.It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
