Spleen and kidney deficiency is the main cause of slow growth in children with Gitelman syndrome.Children are a body with immature yang, and their height growth is closely related to the rise and fall of the body's yang energy. The innate yang in the kidneys is the driving force for children's growth, while the acquired yang pro-duced by the spleen and stomach is the foundation for their growth and development.Under the guidance of the theo-ry of Fuyang Jianzhong, acupuncture was performed on the acupoints of the Du meridian,Ren meridian, bladder me-ridian,spleen meridian, and stomach meridian to supplement the deficiency of spleen and kidney yang qi in chil-dren with Gitelman syndrome,in order to assist in the normal operation and distribution of yang qi,ultimately achie-ving the goal of treating their short stature. This also provides a new approach to the diagnosis and treatment of Gitel-man syndrome, which is mainly characterized by short stature,in traditional Chinese medicine.
