By analyzing the theoretical connotation of"spleen as the defense"and combining the words of ancient medical experts and modern medical research results,starting from the common spleen deficiency syndrome types in pediatric atopic dermatitis,this article deeply explores the etiology,pathogenesis,and syndrome manifesta-tions related to pediatric atopic dermatitis and the theory of"spleen as the defense"from multiple aspects such as the spleen's role in regulating and nourishing organs and the relationship between the spleen and the wei-defensive qi.The influence of the theory of"spleen as the defense"on the endowment of sick children is also put forward.For atopic dermatitis in children mainly characterized by spleen deficiency syndrome,the physiological function of"spleen as the defense"is restored by strengthening the spleen.In the process of developing atopic dermatitis in children,it is important to understand the physiological characteristics of children and pay attention to postnatal feeding methods to prevent disease before it occurs;adjust the dietary structure,actively adopt correct treatment methods,and achieve a combination of internal and external treatment to prevent disease progression;pay attention to physical factors,emphasize health care during the recovery period,reduce adverse stimuli in order to prevent re-currence.The positive role and important clinical significance of regulating the spleen in the treatment of this disease have been affirmed,providing new ideas for the clinical treatment of atopic dermatitis in children.
