The mechanism of action of Xiaoer Kaiwei Zengshi Heji(小儿开 胃增食合剂)in treating infantile anorexia(IA)may be related to regulating proteomics,modulating lipid metabolism,improving intestinal microecol-ogy,and regulating leptin(LEP),neuropeptide Y(NPY),motilin(MTL),ghrelin,and vasoactive intestinal pep-tide(VIP).Xiaoer Kaiwei Zengshi Heji treating IA through multiple angles and targets,the mechanisms related to regulating intestinal flora and monoamine neurotransmitters are still not fully understood.Future research can delve deeper into these aspects to provide broader ideas and methods for the treatment of IA.
