Status quo and research focus analysis with Citespace of education reform of the course Nutrition and Food Hygiene
Objective To summarize the development of teaching reform in the course of Nutrition and Food Hygiene from 2004 to 2023,and analyze its focuses and frontiers to provide research ideas for relevant future reforms.Methods Relevant research papers including literature reviews were retrieved from CNKI published from April 17,2004 to April 17,2023.The authors,affiliations,and keywords of the studies were analyzed with CiteSpace 6.2.R1.Results A total of 270 articles were included in the present research.Our analysis identified the total annual numbers of publications,the top ten authors with the largest individual annual numbers of publications,the author collaboration network,the top ten institutions in terms of annual numbers of publications,and the ten keyword clusters including teaching,teaching reform,practice,lab teaching,preventive medicine,ideological and political education in professional courses,problems in teaching,reform,public health,and graduate students.Conclusion Through our review of the literature from 2004 to 2023,it has been found that in the future teaching of the course,teachers should incorporate ideological and political education elements,actively explore innovative teaching methods,constantly improve the teaching plans,and establish diversified assessment system for lab teaching.In order to address the persistent problems and challenges of traditional teaching,it is necessary to continuously expand the breadth and depth of teaching content,lead students from passive learning to active learning,and enhance their independent learning skills,all of which in the end will contribute to the development of the"new medical science".
