Discussion on the application of OBE-based seminar in the teaching of the discipline Traditional Chinese Pediatrics
As an important bridge for undergraduates to move from classroom learning to clinical practice,Traditional Chinese Pediatrics stresses the integration of medical theory and clinical skills.For a long time,the syllabus design of relevant courses has neglected the students' ultimate learning outcomes,resulting in problems such as excessively rigid teaching methods,a dearth of active thinking among students,and an inability to apply knowledge flexibly.This paper will explore the application of seminar teaching method based on outcome-based education(OBE)to the discipline Traditional Chinese Pediatrics,with the goal of fostering students' capability for active thinking and flexible knowledge application,so as to make up for the shortcomings of traditional teaching,enhance students' comprehensive qualities,and achieve better teaching outcomes.
