Literature metrics and visualization analysis of "research feeding back teaching" in the field of traditional Chinese medicine education
Objective To explore the current status,research hotspots,and development trends of"research feeding back teaching"in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)education,providing a reference for future research.Methods Literature related to"research feeding back teaching"in the field of TCM education from January 1,2000,to July 1,2023,was retrieved from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI).Data integration was performed using NoteExpressV 3.6,with bibliometrics as the theoretical support.CiteSpace 5.7.R5 Advanced software was used to analyze and visualize trends in publications,authors,keywords,and emergent terms.Results The study included 847 articles.The annual publication volume generally showed a fluctuating increase,with the years 2017-2021 having the highest publication volume.From 2000 to 2023,a total of 647 scholars participated in research in this field.Among them,Professor Jia Lianqun from Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine had the highest publication volume,making him one of the core scholars in the field of"research feedback into teaching"in TCM education.Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was the leading institution,with a close collaboration with Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Comprehensive keyword analysis showed that the hot topics in TCM education include teaching reform,research capability,and innovation capacity,which are the core and two wings of"research feedback into teaching"in TCM.In the field of TCM curriculum teaching reform,two particularly hot and emerging research topics are"upholding tradition and fostering innovation"and"graduate training,"expected to become new research hotspots in the field.Conclusion"Research feedback into teaching"in TCM education is still in the stages of theoretical and practical exploration.Research primarily focuses on teaching reform,the cultivation of innovative TCM talents,and research and innovation capabilities,influencing future research trends.
