Research on the implementation effect of the National Traditional Chinese Medicine Classic Proficiency Level Examination based on the perspective of teaching administrators
Objective From the perspective of academic management personnel,this study investigates the effectiveness of the National Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)Classics Capability Level Examination across the country,aiming to enhance the training of TCM talents,promote the development of institutions,and expand the influence of the examination.Methods A survey was conducted using questionnaires targeting academic management personnel from 40 institutions that have participated in the National TCM Classics Capability Level Examination.The survey focused on the effects of the exam,the degree of importance institutions place on it,and overall satisfaction.Results The participation rate among institutions is high,with a strong willingness to continue participating.Institutions highly value the National TCM Classics Capability Level Examination,which has effectively enhanced both the training of TCM talents and the development of the institutions themselves.Overall satisfaction with the exam process is high among institutions;however,there is still room for improvement in enhancing the educational level of teachers and increasing students'ability to solve clinical problems through the exam.Conclusion The National TCM Classics Capability Level Examination has achieved significant success,with high importance and satisfaction rates among institutions.To further enhance the effectiveness of the exam,institutions should fully leverage its evaluative role to promote precise improvements in education and teaching.Additionally,strengthening the integration of classical theory knowledge with clinical practice throughout the talent training process will foster the development of TCM talents by merging theory and practice.
