The influence of clinical teachers' mastery of TCM classics on clinical diagnosis and treatment confidence:Study of the regulatory effects of defensive clinical teaching behavior
The mastery of clinical teachers in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)and their confidence in clinical diagnosis are critical factors affecting teaching quality. This study aims to explore the impact of clinical teachers' mastery of TCM on their confidence in clinical diagnosis and to understand the regulatory effect of defensive clinical teaching behavior(DCTB)in this relationship.Data were collected using a cross-sectional questionnaire survey method, and a model was established using multiple linear regression methods to test the relationships between variables. The results indicated that mastery of TCM is positively associated with clinical diagnosis confidence and negatively associated with DCTB.Clinical diagnosis confidence is negatively associated with DCTB.DCTB negatively regulates the relationship between mastery of TCM and clinical diagnosis confidence, with the degree of regulation varying based on the frequency of occurrence. The study discusses and analyzes the current situation of clinical teachers' perception of clinical teaching behavior and the reasons for the occurrence of DCTB.It proposes that TCM education reform should advocate for positive and open clinical teaching models while preparing students for the challenges of clinical practice.
