Adhering to the concept of cultivating and educating through culture:nurturing talents with traditional Chinese medicine characteristics in the new era
Cultivating and educating through culture is an inherent mission of university culture and an important area of ideological and political work in universities. With the rapid development of higher education,research on cultivating through culture in universities has deepened,and the distinctive educational model of nurturing through literature is playing a greater role. This paper analyzes and discusses the significance and role of cultivating and educating through culture in the distinctive education of the new era,particularly in higher education for traditional Chinese medicine (TCM),based on the reforms and explorations of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in this field. It proposes cultural education measures of "leadership,initiation,guidance,long-term development,and protection," which hold great referential value for strengthening ideological and political work in universities.
