"Family culture," as an important part of China's outstanding traditional culture,is a significant support for universities in fulfilling the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education. Based on the exploration and practice of the School of Acupuncture and Tuina at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, this paper integrates China's traditional "family culture" with the core values of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)-benevolence,harmony,excellence,and sincerity. It explores and unearths the practical value of "family culture" in cultural education within universities from the material, spiritual, institutional, and behavioral levels.
