Research on the reform of the curriculum system for medical and health law programs in medical universities under the background of new liberal arts
Under the strategic background of the construction of new liberal arts, the importance and necessity of curriculum system reform and optimization have reached an unprecedented level. Currently, the curriculum system of the medical and health law program in Chinese medical universities has several shortcomings, such as insufficient depth in content development, too few specialized courses, lack of integration among courses, and a mismatch between course content and societal needs. It is recommended that curriculum reform aligns with the demands and connotations of the new liberal arts, with a focus on strengthening value guidance, optimizing course module structures, facilitating the organic integration and coordination of interdisciplinary knowledge, and developing a "dual system" approach to course content. These measures aim to cultivate a group of high-quality,interdisciplinary legal professionals with firm beliefs, correct values,a solid understanding of modern technology, strong legal expertise, and excellent adaptability to societal needs.
