Research on the Adaptability between Program Offerings and Industrial Structure of Technical Colleges in Zhejiang Province
Technical colleges play a pivotal role in nurturing skilled technical professionals,and the alignment of their program offerings with the upgrading and transformation of industrial structures is fundamental to their existence.An analysis of the program offerings in 85 technical colleges in Zhejiang Province in 2021 reveals that there is room for improvement in the adaptability between the program offerings of technical colleges in Zhejiang Province and the industrial structure.The supply of talent still falls short of fully meeting the demands of the labor market,and the pursuit of a"broad and comprehensive"approach to education has exacerbated issues of program homogenization.Based on our research and analysis,it is concluded that the program offerings of technical colleges should be market-driven,aligned with industrial technology to cultivate talents,adopt a strategy of competitive differentiation,and dynamically optimize and adjust program offerings.Those approaches will result in the development of a distinctive and competitive"Zhejiang-style"technical education.
