Background,Measures and Characteristics of the Digital Transformation in Swedish Vocational Education
In the era of digital economy,how to seize the important opporturity of digital technology empowering the transformation of vo-cational education,enhance the adaptability to industrial structural reform,and thas construct a new ecosystem for vocational education is one of the difficult probems to be solved urgently in the development of vocational education in various countries.In response to new re-quirements of the digital economy era and urgent demand for digital skilled talents for industrial transformation and upgrading,the govern-ment of Sweden has primarily implemented measures such as strengthening top-level design,optimizing resource allocation and adjusting educational models,in order to maintain a leading position in the new wave of information technology revolution.Based on the analysis,it is found that the digital transformation of vocational education in Sweden possess the following characteristics:the government plays a prominent role in driving the digitalization of vocational education;a multi-coordinated model is established for cultivating digital skills talent;and the improvement of digital literacy for principals and teachers is stressed.
