Comparative Study on the Professional Standards of Family Education Instructors between China and the United States
Professional Standards for Family Education Instructors is an important basis for the professional cultivation,admission assess-ment and development of family education instructors.Due to the different practice and construction process,there are differences in fun-damental principle,content framework and theoretical basis between China and the United States.China has constructed the basic content of professional standards of family education instructors based on four dimensions of professional ethics and morality,professional ideas,professional knowledge and professional skills,while the United States has constructed ten related dimensions according to the content of family life education.The study suggests that China should consider the actual needs of family education guidance to deepen its theory,further consider the basic principle and content framework of standards,and explore the practical approaches of professional standards.
